The Heart
Behind Diamond Time Co.

our inspiration.

This one’s for Rob.

This brand is an ode to my brother, rob, who passed away in 2011. When he died, I made an inner vow to live for both of us. but For a long time, I didn’t know how to do that. I was living... but not fully inside of my life. Fifteen years later, I finally am. so I decided to create a brand in his honor.

In the years after he passed, I moved through seasons that felt dark, heavy, and filled with grief. Seasons that applied pressure that I didn’t always understand. Looking back, I see those moments as the ones that revealed my true values. They taught me that time, like a diamond, is shaped under pressure and becomes the most valuable when we choose how we live inside of it.

That understanding gave language to something I had been living in for years. I called it "diamond time" - a phrase I’ve carried and used long before it ever became a brand. Because while you may come out the other side as a diamond, the period it takes to get there can feel a lot more like doing time under a divine sentence.

My brother had this way of moving through life that taught me a lot of what I now know about time. he never stayed in one place for long, or committed himself to just one thing. He lived fully, without shame, guilt, or worry - like some part of his soul knew his time here would be short. he followed curiosity wherever it led, moving freely from one passion to the next.

At the time, I didn’t understand his way of moving through the world. it seemed almost chaotic. now, I see it as wisdom. It taught me to treat time, this life, and the people I love as valuable and finite. This became part of the heart behind the brand. Not rushing through life, not postposing joy, and not waiting for the “right time.” But choosing to live right here and right now - present with the ones you love and the life you were given.

It’s an invitation to experience life, follow what pulls you, try what excites you, and to live fully, while we still can. because life doesn’t wait... it’s already happening.

Growing up, we both gravitated to clothing that felt fun. We appreciated outfits that were expressive and lifted your mood the moment you put them on - think smiley faces, fun patterns, bold colors, etc. This is something I never outgrew, no matter how old I got. I didn’t realize then that this shared love for fun, expressive clothes would become one of the ways I'd carry him forward.

You’ll see a lot of his spirit in the pieces. There’s a lightness woven into the brand, a sense of play, curiosity, and of not taking life (or yourself) too seriously. The same child-like essence that we embodied back then, still lives in the collections i’ve brought to life today. They’re meant to feel fun to wear. To remind you that life is meant to be enjoyed, and that joy is always better when shared.
